Cirrus Aircraft’s Let’s Go Fly! app is a short, polished piece of brand marketing built specifically to show off what an immersive video experience on Vision Pro can do, and it does that job well. The centerpiece is a first-person immersive flight over the American desert southwest in a Cirrus SR22 Turbo, one of the most popular personal aircraft in the world, flown by an actual Cirrus pilot rather than rendered as a simulation. You’re seated where the passenger would be, with the wraparound field of view giving you the sense of altitude and speed that a flat video simply can’t replicate, watching canyon country and desert terrain pass beneath the wing.
Once the flight sequence ends, the app switches modes entirely and drops you into an augmented reality view of a full-scale 3D model of the Cirrus SR22T sitting in your actual living room, along with the Cirrus Vision Jet. You can walk around both aircraft at real size, which is a genuinely different way to appreciate the scale of a personal aircraft compared to photos or spec sheets — most people have never stood next to one, let alone one indoors.
There isn’t much more to the app beyond those two pieces, and it’s clearly designed as a recruitment and brand tool for Cirrus rather than a deep ongoing utility, but for what it is, it’s an effective demonstration of why immersive video is one of Vision Pro’s better use cases. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s actually like to fly over open desert in a small aircraft, or wanted to see a Cirrus up close without a trip to an airport, this is a free, quick way to get a taste of both.
